This is the first time I heard any politician say a peep about the 250th. It's a significant milestone in human civilization. I wasn't alive for the 200th, I'll probably be dead before the 300th, the 250th should be celebrated instead of marginalized

I was 13 during the 1976 celebration we had all kinds of celebrations including a huge parade. In school we preformed a marching routine all us girls wore blue jeans with white blouses and a red white and blue bandanna around our necks it was awesome.

I love this plan in celebration of our Country’s 250th year , I clearly remember the Bicentennial 200th year celebration. I was 13 years old and my cousin, neighbors, uncle and brothers all camped outside in a tent!

The Bicentennial Celebrations were such a Patriotic and Uniting time back in 1976. We owe it to our kids and grandkids to give them that same opportunity to celebrate 250 of our Republic.

I remember the 200th in '76! WOW what a country we had back then. I'm a 24 Year retired USMC Veteran, and I can't recognize this country anymore! It's PATHETIC! WE NEED TRUMP! SAVE THIS COUNTRY MR TRUMP, WE NEED YOUR LEADERSHIP!

I was 16 for our 200th. Our neighborhood planted all red, white, or blue flowers and we painted our fire hydrants red and white striped or blue with stars. Professional and private fireworks were amazing and everywhere you looked was a block party with grills going. Our neighborhood pool had a party and I was old enough to work the concession stand. All good memories from that time.

I'm an Iowa girl living in Illinois. I almost jumped off my couch when President Trump said the USA Fair will be held in Des Moines, Iowa State Fair Grounds. I am so proud to be from Iowa. I pray all his plans come true! God Bless America and God Bless President Trump!
