May Baba Kwame Brathwaite's life continue to be celebrated. May his work and legacy continue to teach and inspire us.
  • Will done Louise Dente. More, more...I had a store on 7th Ave 132nd Street, around the corner from Black Rose in the 60s. I did African clothes while you wait. I always admired her craft of work. Kwame created my first brochure for my store. The store is represented in Kwame's book. The photos of my work are part of the Museum Tours. I have always represented Black is Beautiful within my style naturally. Kwame Brathwaite's legacy lives on. RIP Bob Gumbs. Thank you, Louise.
