FBI seizes 'top secret' files from Trump's Mar-a-Lago home

It's been revealed the FBI has seized files classed as “top secret” during the search of Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home in Florida.

The FBI retrieved 11 sets of documents, some of them being “top secret”.

It comes as an unsealed search warrant revealed the former US president was being investigated for possible violations of the Espionage Act.

    They've probably declared these files to be "Top secret" after the fact so they can get him on something, anything. Remember, they said he would be taken out " by any means necessary". This is what they meant.

  • Well, he's allowed to have them. As an ex President he has the security clearance to read documents from his own era. Also, he may have declassified them before leaving office. The American President has the power to declassify any document while he is in office. The mere fact that he has them, means they are declassified.
