I'm so glad that you brought up the whole ventilation and mask thing. I had to give up birdkeeping when I was 19, I'm now 40 because of pigeon fancier's lung. I really do miss them. I've been living vicariously through you and your vids so thank you so much for your uploads! 🙂

Top tip for mite If you watch a blue tit build its nest they add lavender because mite hate scented stuff so I used to throw rosemary and mint all through cages and around the bird room during breeding season

sir, when we breed canaries indoors, do they need sunlight for sunbathing?

me my canaries I am in the second round ,I start in January ,by cons indigénes in March, anyway it refuses to start earlier in the year
