    I'm sorry to most modern racers but this series is pretty much THE BAR for racing games. Even the original game pretty much helped start a paradigm shift by which other racers would adhere to.

    I feel so bad for kids today, it wasn't perfect but America back then was amazing. Kids today don't realize how bad they truly have it and it go's beyond videogames, life in general was better.

    The click of the sound when they put the cartridge in always gets me. They had to emphasize that one little thing. Kind of like how the Switch doesn't make the click sound, even though that's the sound of the Switch. Fun fact: Apparently the Joycons were magnetic in early tests, and the sound of snapping them on the console was way closer to the 'click' sound that we know today.
