Positioned just off Gabon's coast and secluded from the rest of the globe, this stands as one of Africa's tiniest nations. Its populace is a blend of the descendents of slaves and the initial Portuguese settlers. Within these untouched islands, where Nature is so generous, the people of Sao Tome and Principe revel in a paradise of lush forests, towering peaks, and azure seas.

Nice village life.. this is just a wonderful place.
  • There was no discussion of there politics, how they obtain water, what other ways of making a living are there, what other crops are grown, villages and ways of living, the religion, transportation, i loved what I saw, but there was so much more to learn.

Here in the Philippines we call the Herbal Healers " ALBULARYO" from the Spanish word "HERBOLARIO" ....these days not a lot of Filipinos believe in their way of healing unlike maybe 50-60 years ago.

  • Cutting down one tree, that takes 20 years to grow, to make a boat is sustainable. Another will grow up in its place. The turtle thing is another issue altogether.
