You know things are messed up if youre actually relieved when the multiuniversal villain comes in to take out whatever this is.

Idk who the scariest Spider-Man is but the scariest Spider-Man writer is definitely Zeb Wells. Reading the comic book issues he writes is truly a horrifying experience.

Personally, I liked that we got a Spider-Man who hunted and ate like a spider. Most versions of the character don't, so it made for an interesting change of pace.

Honestly love how morlun is used in this story, he just so happens to make that universe better by eating Patton

Yknow, spiders have a lot of squick potential, but I never understand why people always go back to egg parasitism, the one thing they don't actually do.

Morlun: (After returning home from this universe) “I’m starting to think I did that universe a favour by killing that Spider-Man.”

Shows probably the worst-case scenario for Spider-Man. Grows up into a Sociopath because of no May or Ben. Then the Spider bite no only gives him powers, but it transforms him into a literal monster that enjoys killing with no remorse at all.

I kind of like how this Spider-Man was already an asshole before he became a literal monster.

Its as if Junji Itto decided to write a Spiderman comic. Can't decide which is creepier: this or the spider zombie.
  • Holy fuck. I felt myself rooting for Morlun until Sara Jane turned out to have been bitten. The one time a villain does some genuine decency like this…

4:41 “Out of nowhere, Morlun appears in Patton’s home”. Idk why this makes me laugh so much but it does

Maybe it's just me, but I'd love to see a heroic monstrous version of Spider Man. Like, Peter keeps his usual heroic demeanor, but he has to deal with becoming a thousand spiders in a flesh sack body.

I've never heard of Morlun before but judging from the breif descriptions in this video and assuming he's always a villain, he could make a pretty cool anit-hero, traveling to different dimensions to kill the f----ed up versions of Spider-Man and other characters
  • @felixmckinney7132
Because of all the slightly altered names, this story feels like a bootleg of the real Spider-man origin sometimes, Minus eating people of course.
  • @PrinceTrunks92
The only spider comic that would genuinely terrify me is one where Spider-Man actually has a good life with no pain, loss, or strife. It would break my grip on reality 🙃
  • @MrNoremac208
Never has there been a better time for Morlun to show up for a snack.
  • Here after The spider fan film , didnt know it was a comic adaptation

I wish Marvel or DC would do a line of horror comics geared towards older teen or adults. Make them much more darker and pit our heroes against some true nightmarish villains. Now that would be epic

Marvel: if we aren’t slowly torturing Peter Parker, we’re turning him into a monster.
