Lia Thomas BANNED From The Olympics..Transphobic or A Win For Women?

Publicado 2024-06-20
Lia Thomas was recently banned from competing at the Olympics in Paris this summer. The transggender swimmer lost her challenge against the Court of Arbitration of Sport in Switzerland, when a judge ruled she did not have standing to bring the case.

Is this transphobic, or is that a win for protecting women's sports?

Win for women, as it always should've been
  • @Jaydenstarr00
A massive win for women!! Can’t have a men racing against women! That is not fair.
  • Not transphobic at all. They made the right ruling and women must be protected. It is common sense.

The fact that Lia Thomas and these other "Trans athletes" refuse to compete against the Men...really let's you know what this is all about. South Park already highlighted it. Women need to start reclaiming their sports that they fought so hard for. Men will support them.

Next, William will identify as a child and go after junior Olympics.

Massive W for Women!!!! Absolutely love this ruling.

Well said. It should not be controversial. I support gays and transgenders. But it simply isn't fair for transgenders like Lia Thomas to compete against women. I hope in a few years this will no longer be an issue.
  • The self-realization of some must not lead to cheating of others. The right decision.
  • I am as liberal as it comes. But I am always as athletic as they come. This is a win for women. There is an OBVIOUS difference when it comes to sports!

A trans woman is NOT a biological woman. Period. Sports categories are based on biology and physiology. A 240 pound male wrestler can not simply "identify" as 160 pounds. And if he claims to be 160 pounds and demands that we treat him as such, would that mean he should be allowed to compete in the 160 pound category?

This is such a touchy topic, but you do a great job of being rational and respectful at the same time. Great video, I wish more people thought like this!

A Perfect rational opinion. This is absolutely the correct answer. Thank you for speaking the truth!

I agree with this ruling and the guidelines that come with it 100%!

Uwian na! That's awesome lol. Way to lay out the facts and present them in a fair way. Good job tackling a subject that could be tricky. Completely agree.

I am not hateful - I am left wing - but this is the right call. This is not about letting this person live as a trans-woman, it’s about competition and fairness and this is the right decision.
