Dee Gees - Shadow Dancing (Audio)

I know you'll never read this Dave, but in 1978 my Mom was a huge Andy Gibb fan she had this record, an 8-track for the car (a 1974 Ford Ltd, Brougham 2-door with a 460). She wept when Andy died and until she passed away in 2001 at 55 it was still her favourite album. I'm not the kid I was in 78 in fact at 53 soon to be 54 I'm gaining quickly on the age my Mom was when she died. I just want to say Thanks for this, just hearing this song has taken me back to so many great memories of that time and place when I was an 11 year old kid just finding my own musical identity. You and I met very briefly in 1991 in Vancouver, probably one of a couple million souls you've met since but, I remember. I remember Kurt coming up to the bar to get loonies (Cdn $1.00 coins) for the cigarette machine and all three of you were really nice. I was with a couple guys from work, at the time I was working on a TV series at North Shore Studios. Man a lifetime flies by quick doesn't it. Thanks again, very cool album. Take care. - David L.

Barry Gibb was gushing over this a few days ago on his FB page. Wish the other 3 brothers were here to hear it as well! I just love the Dee Gees songs! Love that its not 'beneath' you to do songs from 4 decades ago!

This is some serious marketing genius! The music was trashed because it was played to death. It is the greatest free style dance music ever created. Dave loves the history of this generations music and it really shouldn't be surprising that he would do this and pull it off.
