8:54 "1 minus 1 is none, what is minus 1 from none" the answer is "N" by removing the word "one" from "None", which is basically a reference to the group's name Nmixx, I think that's a really cool riddle
  • I hope NMIXX and JYPE will pursue this kind of music genre. We all know there's always time for improvement. Trying things outside the box doesn't equate for perfection in the first tries. They will master this soon enough.

Just so you know, abstract art often still has structure though things like line, color, shape, theme, and even texture. So yeah, humans really like structure, even our “unstructured” abstract art is quite structured. But some people don’t like it because they can’t see that structure (or they dislike that structure) and that’s totally okay! It doesn’t make abstract art lovers better or any different from people who don’t like abstract art! Our brains just all process things differently and enjoy things differently and it’s okay!

NMIXX might be the first kpop group to have ''Dadaism'' as their concept and honestly its pretty cool

tbh i don’t understand why people act like fans can’t genuinely enjoy nmixx i don’t fully enjoy it but i can totally appreciate it i think o.o was a bit of a shock but the way this mv and the lyrics play out really explains what nmixx is all about, this is definitely a very creative group
  • Jype does a lot of experiments on Nmixx, from outfits to music genres. I hope these girls get the shine like they deserve soon.
  • @Bestosterone
JYP already has groups like TWICE and ITZY, Nmixx doesnt need to be another group like that, they do something different and I like that. a lot. I LOVE Nmixx, they have the talent, the visuals, the dance, the vocals, the presence. My only complaint about nmixx is line distribution, but that is a problem EVERY kpop group has. I personally enjoy everything nmixx has put out so far, and i really like their vibe.

NMIXX is just Bohemian Rhapsody as a genre... people will learn to love it. I think it's great!

I personally love nmixx and their music because it is different and unique, which makes them really special
  • People say , their music is not easy listening and wasn't good. But for me, i really really love their music😭
  • @hyewon1875
People actually liked Dice a lot! Nmixx is finally charting and trending in korea in the top 10 and around the world!
  • @rydrew
honestly NMIXX’s concepts are chaotic in the best way possible, I’ve been LOVING the switch-ups in the songs because they’re such a change from the 20 years of music I’ve been listening to and their concepts are just so fun!!!

For the white cats, I thought they symbolize other kpop artists as in all the shots where white cats appear, the members are all wearing white. As you said at the beginning the song is about them competing with other kpop artists. Also, this MV has a big Alice in Wonderland influence, as shown on the cards with Cheshire Cat. Therefore maybe they are scared of the cats because they don’t want to be tricked and or deceived by others to bring them down. I also noticed that the door is the same colour as Cheshire Cat, maybe that symbolizes there are always people waiting to trick and deceive you.

On my first listen, I already liked the song especially Kyujin's "big wave big wave...", and the high note of Sullyoon and Lily's part after. Well no surprise lol I like mix pop.
  • At first, with O.O, I really thought its a failed attempt. With DICE, at first listen, I'm like "Again??? They should stop." But listening to it again and again, I see how great it really is. The music quality and the instrumental are fancy. I'm shocked that Sullyoon did a highnote also. They all did great! The only thing I noticed is how some members pronounced the words, seems like they eat them. But other than that, they really have a fancy potential.
  • I personally love the way NMIXX’s MV’s and music is with the different beats/change ups all the time, I don’t get why people hate it?? It’s different and cool And literally so many other groups have it too but it’s so subtle that you don’t always notice it, Pink Venom literally has change ups but people don’t hate on them because they love Blackpink lmao🙄

Y'all cannot deny that the M/V is Magnificent and together with the lyrics, they tell a story which leads us to different worlds💗🌟✨🌈.

6:47 I'm still not 100% sure abt the meaning of the dolphins and pirate ships But NMIXX has had aquatic themes from debut. Their debut single album is titled "Ad Mare", which means "to the sea" in latin. Their logo animation is like a bunch of little bubbles of liquid coming together. In the O.O MV, they start out in front of a marooned pirate ship. And now in DICE, we heavily see a lot more of the sea imagery: dolphins, Kyujin on the pirate ship and looking through a telescope, Lilly holding a pirate map and pointing forward. And in the ending scene, Bae drops a little marble that falls into a yellow underwater world with jellyfish. My prediction is that NMIXX is going to continue this theme until we fully see them with an aquatic/underwater concept in a future comeback.

Calling them "the world's most controversial Kpop group" because people debate whether their songs are good is completely ridiculous. Honey Popcorn was a Kpop group that consisted entirely of Japanese pornstars and Korean parents actually signed a petition to prevent them from debuting (it didn't work but they didn't last either). The girl group GLAM disbanded after one of the members went to jail for trying to blackmail a Korean actor. April was forced to disband after a bullying scandal that they couldn't disprove. T-ARA was hit with a similar bullying scandal, and even though they were falsely accused it badly damaged their reputation and limited their success for years. These are real controversies, not "I don't like their songs".

I genuinely love Dice! This comeback was great. O.O is a bit more controversial but it’s still a good song. They’re so talented and I hope JYPE will keep using the girls talent and sees their potential
