Took me a minute to remember that Chris might not have the greatest relationship with his parents since the JW video, so hearing him say he got to enjoy Top Gun with his mom really was an awesome thing hear. Happy new year, Stuckmann!

Seeing The Outfit on this list made me so happy man. It's truly a phenomenal film and Mark Rylance is truly amazing as well as Zoey Deustch and Dylan O'Brien and that ending really catches you off guard....like TRULY unexpected.

Can we appreciate Colin Farrell who just had the most spectacular year? So many amazing films he has been in just this year and the variety of performances.
  • Ine thing I enjoy about you Chris is that you not only do this for your passion of movies and anime, but also who help people who enjoy it to even people who watching it casually. That's awesome of you
  • @babyfawn
Awesome list, can’t wait to dig into most of these. Looking forward to this podcast too, definitely will be listening in!! Happy new year
  • Everything Everywhere All at Once was such a surprise! I thought Maverick was going to be number 1 on my list, but then I decided to watch Everything and it completely blew me away - the humor, dialog, soundtrack, action and heart.

Tom Cruise was not allowed to fly the f-18s, he did however fly his own p-51 at the end of the movie.
  • HOW HAS THIS MAN NOT SEEN BABYLON? nobody is reviewing it and it's so sad because it's definitely one of the best movies of the year

I don't check in as often as I used to. But I'm glad to see you thriving, Chris. I'm still so proud of you for talking about your JW experience. I'm glad to see you could see a movie with your mom this year. I'm looking forward to seeing your film, and all your future films. Love and light to you.
  • The opening of top gun maverick when you hear the iconic theme on the aircraft carrier and then it switched to Highway to the danger zone and the planes taking off I knew it instantly this would be my favorite movie of the year
  • The banshee of inisherin took me by surprise in the last 1hr 10 minutes. Loved how grim and dark it went. Quite greusome as well! Made me think I'd never want to live on an island like that.
  • @samkutcher
can't wait to experience another year full of movies with you chris! Love from brazil
  • I've been watching your vids since 2012 Chris, 10 whole years. 🥂Here's to another 10 years, and a Happy New Year.
  • I can’t emphasize enough how much I trust and respect Chris’ movie reviews. I was worried he was bailing on YouTube after become a filmmaker, but I love his reviews. The way he explains his opinion without any malice. Just how he feels, and with legitimate reasons to back it up. One of the few movie reviewers I trust. Hope he keeps posting here, even after he becomes a director, a podcaster & much much more

Hey Chris, I picked up The Outfit because of you, and I gotta say it did not disappoint. A super small cast in a single set piece made it feel like I was watching a play. Its small and simple and the actors really get to act, Mark Rylance was spooky in Bones & All and in this he is very calm and almost mouse like at times... such great range. I also recommend the Outfit to anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

As a busy dad like you, I see it in you. You've grown. You've changed. Your words have many unspoken thoughts behind them, and you've matured. You are a good person, and its obvious to many people that watch your channel. Wish you all the best in the new year.
