I was in Florence, CO. I stood on a rise overlooking the prison. I was headed to go get some coffee and a pastry and then headed down the road. The sensation of freedom was so intense and felt so good.

1 Question : Why this is still right-now consuming oxygen & energy?

I have experience with ADX. This prison is not worse than death, it is not hell. There are worse places. Recreation hour is in a single outside cell, but you are not always handcuffed or chained. There is basketball goal, and they give you a basketball while in rec, practice handball, workout, or just get sun... You can purchase a TV for your cell that picks up 10 channels with documentaries, religious shows, sports....learn to play chess with your neighbor by creating a special board in which you can communicate your next move through the vent and by numbered spots, it's interesting way to play chess. The food isn't too bad. Commissary can be purchased, books ordered, hobby kits, journals, you can even write your own book to be published( many ADX inmates have published books such as E. Rudolphs book 'Between the lines of Drift') All this doesn't sound to great, or a pleasant way to live, but it is not Hell or worse than death. After a while you develop the best routine you can and begin to live. It's surprising what mankind can adapt to

I have no sympathy for criminals like El Chapo. There will have been opportunities for him to abandon his life of crime, which he clearly did not take.

I wish they wouldn't use computer generated voices because a lot of times the computer can't pronounce simple phrases or words like DEA AGENT which was missed pronounced. If you run it back to 3:22 it will give you a second or two and then you will hear the miss pronunciation of DEA AGENT to dea ah gant (No I didn't misspell it, that's the way it was pronounced). The worst way I've ever heard of drugs being smuggled in was inside of people who died but I can't remember who did that ? It might have been Pablo Escobar or Griselda Blanco. I know people are gonna mention Frank Lucas but he didn't have it put inside of the body, he had it put it inside of the casket of the soldiers which is bad enough. It's called supply and demand, people demand it and cartels supply it. The drug business is the worst business anybody can get into. You're always looking over your shoulder, someone is always thinking or trying to take your spot and it's just plain dangerous. Even your bodyguards are looking to take your spot but the worst thing that can happen is you can end up in a place like the ADX !
