Very goodππππππ

if you cut the leaf like you saw in this video, it will never root. Instead, try pulling the leaf sideways and remove the leaf exactly at it's joint with the mother stem, (which is actually what he did to the one he showed you with roots). Happy gardening to you all!

When u stole a big ass aloe Vera leaf from someone's yard and now u trying to grow itπΆπ±πΏ

THANK YOU for being the ONLY video that actually shows the root growth at the end! I literally could not find it anywhere and it was sooooo helpful to know to look for if it's growing roots.

The music and the way he was cleaning that knife reminded me of a Quentin Terrantino film !!! I thought he was preparing to murder the plant !!
-
the way he was cleaning the knife was lowkey giving me assassin vibes lmao

Title: 100% root First thing said: chances of rooting are very slim
-
I thought he was pouring vodka on them at the end.....I almost lost it

I recently moved from the U.S. to Uruguay and one day while cruising through town on my motorcycle, I noticed that someone had removed a lot of aloe vera and piled it in the street for trash pickup. Having wanted to grow some myself, I picked up a couple of them and brought them home but wasn't sure what to do. Your video helped! Thanks!

Iβve never seen an aloe Vera plant that looks like that before

Great video but can't read the words. Best color choice would be white letters with black outline. Can be read anywhere, that why they always use white & black in subtitles in movies. Thanks for your video!
-
the one u showed with roots is a "daughter" of the plant and not an actual cutting...

The best way to grow new aloe is to wait for the small ones to sprout off the side of a big one and just plant those with the root. I've gotten six huge aloe veras from one and the original parent plant died and yet the new ones have small ones sprouting up to this day.

Wow man that's cool! Thank you for showing a plant you had already rooted as well, because if you hadn't I would not have believed you! Good job!
-
I can have so many Aloe Vera plants now. You saved me money especially showing how to make the compost. Thanks.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I THOUGHT IT HAD TO HAVE A PERFECT PIECE OF SKIN FROM THE MOTHER PLANT TO ROOT! LIKE PEEL DOWN "SNAP" PERFECT WITH ALL IN TACT. I got a giant Leaf from the grocery store I hope they didn't spray it with something to stop it from rooting but it's a variety that I can't buy without spending a lot of money so wish me luck I don't know if I should use their Edge that dried or if I should cut it and start a new one it's late in the season here and it's going to start getting cold I think I should just put it in dirt and go for it! If there's a problem I can always cut it later! I was told by a plant expert it can't be done and I just watched you do it so thank you thank you thank you!

Thank you so much! I had an aloe plant that sadly died because I overwatered it. I'm using your video because I found a leaf from it and I want to try again.

This was very informative, thank you for sharing this! My Aloe plants were starting to rot, So I stopped watering them, and believe it or not they came back to life, they're so much greener & healthy looking now. I'm definitely going to try this tip, And try to grow my own from a leaf!

Tysm! I found out today that my plant (that I had thought to be an Haworthia) had root rot π. The stem was all mushy and all I could save was some leaves. After looking for ways to propagate I found out it was a Aloe Humilis and I had been overwatering it unknowingly! So I really hope this advice works for one of the leaves because I really liked that plant π₯Ίπ€

This was one of the best few videos out there that actually are showing how to save the cuttings or to propagate out of leaves... It is a very google video. A pity although that you were not directly talking in it... ππ€
