Don't you love free plants? It's always so gratifying when they reward you for all of the love & care you give them! ๐

THANK YOU!!! I have been searching for two years on how to save my gigantic aloe vera plants. I did not know that I could cut the stems, and roots would still grow. I thought the plants had to remain attached to the original roots. I have bought taller and taller pots trying to accommodate the long stems. This is Memorial Day 2020 weekend and I also have a few extra days off. I am going to tackle this project! You have no idea how much joy you have brought me in sharing this video. Many thanks and keep being safe during this COVID-19 pandemic.

First 30 second, your laughter is just so uplifting and contagious! ๐

For those who don't know, when you harvest the gel, it can be dehydrated and turned into a powder. Powdered aloe gel is quite a bit more concentrated than the raw gel because you remove the water. This powder can be mixed with any hair care products or skin lotion. Also the powder can be added to smoothies to help with detoxing your body.

Great video! Your 4 week wait is a wonderful gift to me as a procrastinator. My wife bought home these aloe cuttings and I already have piles of stuff waiting to be planted. I have grown them from pups but never done cuttings. Thanks.
