I had to wait a long time to get the pump so I could finish installing it. But now it’s here and we’re going to sweat it out in the filter room sauna to get everything hooked up so we can finally fire her up!

There were a number of challenges building my filter room but I used the vertical space as much as possible to maximize how much space I have.

I’m 6’2 and can easily fit inside the moving bed. I’ve approximated it is around 300gal.

I built this moving bed filter out of plywood, polyester resin, fiberglass, and gelcoat.
