I have a brand new tank for a '73 Riviera I can't use anymore. Looks like the one you pulled. If the cross reference numbers are the same, you can have it. My Riv turned out to be waaaaaay more rusted than I thought and would be way too difficult and/or expensive for me to fix... I'm relatively local to you.

Derek has forever changed the way we talk about cars when we’re working on them.
-
"EPA holding tank in an undisclosed location". Video after video after video you keep the fun factor at a maximum for a guys enjoyment level to remain at 107.6%! Thanks, Derek!

Derek is literally the Bob Ross of Automobiles Restoration ! A very rare talent !!
-
The nursing home that my Dad is at just sent me a copy of their newsletter. One of the pictures shows my Dad participating in an arts and crafts activity, and lo and behold he's wearing the long sleeve VGG shirt I got him for Christmas. I'll be dipped.

Hey. READ THIS ONE. You don't really know how just being "you" can have a huge positive impact on the world. My Mom died just at Easter, she had 97 good years. I haven't smiled or laughed since that happened. I smiled and I laughed through so many of your classics on this YouTube. Thank you.

Favorite quote: "This will interest all of you except for the three of you that are half asleep, and the two of you going to the fridge."

"Wonder what Leeann Rimes is doin? You just don't hear anymore." He's killin me with the ramblin as he's workin

Derek .... I was diagnosed with ALS in April 2020. I was the “mechanic” among my friends. We all own and drive muscle cars. As you can imagine I’ve lost the ability to do or work on anything. YOU create that spark in me and make me laugh and that’s something I need. You are an awesome guy and I only wish I didn’t have ALS because buddy I’d be there having a cold PBR with you. Keep up the great work.

A guy has said it before and he'll say it again... Best car channel on the YouTubes
-
I have to tell you that I have watched every video you have posted. It's nice to see someone who just brings cars back to life. This is the real world and all you ever see is people spending thousands doing frame of restorations. Most people can not afford to restore a car. Your videos prove there are options for the average person to get these old cars back on the road and enjoy them without breaking the bank. Thank you for doing what you do!

Who on earth would dislike this video? One of the best car guys on youtube.
-
Derek is a type of a guy that looks at a piece of rust... licks it and confirms it is rust. Absolute legend.
-
Anyone else notice the random saw swinging back and forth @ 18:00 lol.
-
Gotta love the swinging circular saw in the background
-
Rather than marbles, use chain to clean the tank. Cheaper, easier to get out after 👍🏻
-
You ever watch some VGG at work and have to take your headphones out for only 4.39 seconds but you have to rewind it because you know you’ve probably missed 5 of a zippiest one liners you’ve ever heard ? Cuz... me too
-
OK - so it's only a Vice Grip Garage where you get hypnotized by a circular saw hanging by the power cord and swinging in the background

I had a 72 skylark in 79. It was a super strong car. I took it skiing, driving on dirt roads, car camping and just raging around. Wish I could have kept it. Really enjoy the show.

Seeing that sticker from Bear Country USA reminded me of the time my dad took us to Ghost Town in the Sky in Maggie Valley, NC. He had just bought a 1964 Buick LaSabre and was so proud of it. After a day of fun, we returned to the parking lot and someone whose job it was, I'm sure, had stuck a sticker on his bright, shiny rear bumper. Moses' sandals was he ever so PO'd.
