What scares me is that even Hannibal Lecter seasons and actually cooks his food, and he's a cannibal. a cannibal has more self respect than these people.💀
  • On the topic of white people hating seasonings: I went to a local bagel place here in KY, got a breakfast sandwich, and had to add "salt & pepper" to my order since they don't season the eggs. The cashier got so excited I did, and then proceeded to tell me they used to season all the eggs, until a bunch of old white people complained that pepper was too spicy. 💀

Imagine being that guy’s wife, you just spent hours in the hospital and are finally holding your newborn son in your arms and you look over to see your husband on TikTok, eating your placenta

I’ve got a friend who is basically doing the carnivore diet non voluntarily, his entire system is kinda fucked up and is allergic to nearly everything, poor guy can’t process gluten, dairy, natural fructose and more. Food is meant to be a good experience so it’s so hard to understand why people put themselves through such a limited and sad diet willingly.
  • The history nerd in me is screaming. One major theory as to how we were able to evolve as a civilization is because we are able to absorb more nutrients from our food if we denature the proteins a little first by cooking them
  • @KirikoOnly
“We only need meat!!” Meanwhile some 50% sailors in the 1750’s were dying from scurvy, and fruit was treated like medicine
  • Im shocked I haven't seen anyone concerned about tapeworms yet. Seriously, one of the most common ways to get them is through uncooked meat.
  • "Looks like a tomato grew legs and suffered through an anime training arc" Your insults would make Shakespeare cackle
  • "Your ancestors conquered a quarter of the world for those spices. You better use them." I laughed WAY too hard. <3
  • The amount of people on the carnivore subreddit complaining about both liquid shits and constipation is enough evidence to suggest that humans do, in fact, need fiber in their diet😅

"A tomato that grew legs and suffered through an anime training arc" is some seriously hilarious poetry. SPOT ON. Reading the comments has made me realize that I cannot watch this whole video and keep my breakfast down so....sorry FFB algorithm!
  • Our ancestors have cooked fish for the first time about 780.000 years ago. It's safe to assume we lost the ability to safely digest raw meat by now.
  • as a dude studying microbiology, seeing that man eat raw brain multiple times makes me feel as if I'll contract the prion diseases from those brains myself
  • @Eggratz
The carnivore diet genuinely feels like it’s one big inside joke that I’m not in on
  • @Bibliosection
Fun fact about that "spices are irritating to the gut" comment (this is coming from an immunologist, BTW) but there are studies that show a correlative (and steadily growing causative) relation between spices in food and prevention of helminth (i.e. parasite) infection. Meaning, it is likely that we started putting spices on food to not just improve the flavor, but to reduce parasite growth in the meat and in our gut (or, as our ancestors may have seen it, spiced food is less likely to make them sick). So go ahead and spice the hell out of your food :)
  • I remember when I was very young I had an obsession with T-rexes and would chomp down on hotdogs as if I was a dinosaur and call myself a 'carnivore' because of it. And I think that's better than the actual carnivore trend.
  • @scrunt8223
hearing “fiber is destroying your gut” was like a slap in the face. I can’t believe people are so stupid
  • @Z3NIN
"Some people eat meat raw" do they not realize that there could be parasites.. 😨
  • @cloudz1915
'Brother you look like your about to get drafted for a crusade, dont tell me how to cook, get out of the kitchen and till the fields for lord borkenshaw less you not survive the next famine' got me good 5:50
  • It's just a freak show. I remember reading that, as humans, there is almost nothing you cannot eat and eventually digest. You can chew threw a tennis ball and that would eventually make it through. Doesn't mean you should start a diet where you eat one tennis ball a day, just because you can. Then proclaim this is the best thing you can do. Well, that same logic should apply to eating raw meat from unsavory parts of the animal. Carnivorous animals don't go around hunting other animals to eat their balls. Sure, it's fine to find a use for all parts of the animals. But you know, sometimes that is just a base to make a broth.,, or hot dog sausages, probably. As Google AI recently said: Eat rocks, they're full of minerals!
