Forget multiverse of madness, this wins best cameo of 2022
-
The way he causally says “Thanks, Shrek” as if Shrek showing up to help people out is a regular occurrence
-
“thanks shrek” “you’re welcome, laddie” peak writing
-
Proof that he still has the Shrek voice after all these years.
-
0:41 RIP Steve Harwell, now you're an All-star
-
The sheer fact that an actual Netflix show has a major episode conflict resolved with “and then Shrek shows up” is absolutely wild and I love it
-
This feels like a fever dream
-
I like the idea that Shrek is like a superhero everyone in this universe knows like Superman.
-
This was a super nice moment, honestly. No 'haha, Shrek sucks' joke, no, he just shows up briefly to do something cool and everyone's happy to see him.
-
Mike Myers: Thanks Shrek. Shrek: You’re welcome, laddie. Almost brings a tear to my eye.
-
Hearing that voice again is legendary
-
This proves Shrek is love,Shrek is life. No matter how many years he is absent from tv and movies. He will always be ledgendary
-
I love Mike Myers. He was part of my childhood, & his movies are just pure comedy gold! It’s nice to see him back
-
The fact that Mike steps away from the spotlight for 12 years then comes back with a tv show that's as funny as this where he not only plays the majority of the cast but pays respect to his own career without it feeling hoakie is just masterful.
-
I'm here to pay my respects to the frontman for Smash Mouth. Rest in peace Steve Harwell.
-
12 years later, and Mike's still got it.
-
I love the fact that shrek literally smashed that guy's mouth.
-
Fun fact, that isn't a Shrek costume. After years of training, Shrek now can maintain the exact same expression for an indefinite period, as a method of bluffing enemies. He speaks by psychically projecting his thoughts, a skill he has so perfectly refined that he can shout for a whole crowd to hear all without moving his lips
-
As a Croat, never in a million years did I think I would live to hear Shrek say "I'm the real ogre of Dubrovnik". Truly a magnificent time to be alive.
-
This feels like something I would make up as a kid to tell my friends and I love it.
