Candy in my mind represents every woman who was lost too soon to violence and to ignorance. Although I wish she were portrayed as more than her sass or her ferocity, she embodies the many women who had to fight their whole lives just to be heard and acknowledged. She truly deserved more and better.

Candy came at the right moment, she is the backbone who comes when she needs to but when she does she impacts so much without doing anything big or extravagant. She is truly a classy, intelligent and amazing woman and I respect her

@ the start of 1:15, it really made me cried. I had a bunch of survivor guilt since my best friend died last year from Covid. I'm in healthcare and I was exposed a lot but I never gotten sick. She barely went outside the house during the lockdown but the virus found a way to her. When clock strike 12 into the New Year, I felt like it wasn't fair that she didn't get to live to see it. But after watching this scene, I'm starting to let go of that guilt and just live. Not for myself, but for her ❤❤❤
