HMM Berserk Fuhrer. One of the coolest Zoids kits ever.

Man, all these people building MGs in an evening and it takes me a month on average to put together an RG kit. It typically takes me about an hour to go through sanding and panel lining for just one step lol.

Shield Ligers are actually my favorite of the liger type zoids. Since its the first zoid piloted by Van in Chaotic Century, and is somewhat antithetical to what you'd expect an anime protagonist to use back then. It made extensive use of its energy shielding, its primary modes of attack are ranged weapons, the weapons themselves are relatively standard, and Van fought pretty dirty favoring guerilla tactics. At least compared to what other anime was on Cartoon Network at the time, which was mostly shonen. Chaotic Century on the other hand has themes and atmosphere of what you'd expect in a real robot anime like Mobile Suit Gundam.

18:47 the opening leg fins are heat dispersal vents also fun fact Zoid cores are actually the compact vital organs of the zoids, making them alive, albiet soley the core...also it is POSSIBLE To genetically modify a zoid.

Then let's do the HMM Gojulas Ogre, Itself is a spectacle to behold.

The blade liger evolved from the wreckage of the shield liger when the organoid Zeke fused with it and the ab or attack booster was (the guns on the side) was added when the blade liger was outclassed at ranged combat and acts not just as a ranged option but also an additional booster unit for
  • liger zero Schneider, command wolf, shadow fox, and lightning saix are my recommendations.

Lol! I'm 34, when zoids was on cartoon network when I was a kid I got into them, they were the first models I built. Peep the konig wolf, Geno breaker, and the berserk fury.

I was a massive Zoids fan growing up, I'm glad you've decided to check them out. As a kid I only had a few of the smaller, simpler kits and several of the action figures but now as an adult I would love to get my hands on one of these high end kits. Elephander was always my favorite Zoid but it's hard to find now and commands a high price. I'd love to see you take a crack at that one!

Hi mate, here the list of zoid u should pick one: - Liger zero schneider, - liger jager, - death stinger, - sturm tyranna, - pteras bomber jamie, - dark horn harry, - dibison thomas, - iron kong prozen knight, - buster tortoise, - gun sniper leena, I really interested on death stinger which is a scorpion type of zoid and for me it look really amazing but the other are also awesome tho. Hope you will get at least one of what i suggest in the list.
  • I still have a crate full of Tomy-made Zoids beneath my bed that I made when I was a kid
  • This is probably the best review for a Zoid I've ever seen, great job. Those fins on the shoulders are vents for the shield generator, the anime shows them opening up and venting steam when the shields are overloaded. With the runners, the Shield Liger was from 2006 and it's main body and legs come from that kit, the Blade Liger was released about a year later recycling some parts and the AB weapon set was released a year after that, first as a separate box and then as a combined set with what you have here and the anime accurate Van version (or "Bang" as they bizzarly call him on the box) which comes with small pre-painted in scale figures for Van, Fiona and their organoid Zeke. I've built 24 HMM Zoids so far and I've never needed to use glue on them but you can notice that Kotobukia really doesn't have the same kind of quality control and level of plastic injection engineering that Bandai has, which isn't a surprise as they're a vastly smaller company. The more recent designs are the best in terms of quality, I'd highly recommend getting the Gojulas, it's by far their best model and is the size, complexity (and cost) as a PG but is absolutely rock solid and looks amazing, especially if you can get one of the variants with the huge Gojulas Cannons.
