Watching this I’m picking up connections between this and other units. I love how something may be taught from one point (say Botany) and then from another point (like chemistry) because it comes full circle. My kids even pick up on it too!

I am so happy they are finally doing mp3s of their teacher guide!! We might have to retry Gather Round 🙈 we took a break because I am pregnant and chasing a toddler and it's a lot of reading 😅

We are excited for the experiment book even tho we don’t normally do add ons!!! We do seatwork in our own way tho!!! This looks fun!!! We are looking for real life chemistry so we’ve been excited for this unit since we knew it was coming out!!! My daughter is doing a lot of chemistry and we are looking at making it connect for her!!! The hands on activities sounds awesome!!! Im not sure if this will be done just with my oldest daughter or family style yet!!!

2 questions. 1) with the mp3, is it one mp3 covering the whole teachers guide? Or are there mp3s for each color coded section? 2) I forget, do you use a separate LA curriculum? I know you bounce around between these and CC.

Is the seat work journal for younger kids though? I plan to use this chemistry when my daughter is a senior in 3 years but I was under the impression the seat work book was for young writers.
