I enjoyed this record more than I thought I would. It's something special. It's fresh and cool.

This one is a grower people!!! I thought it was so-so at 1st and something kept calling me back to it. After my 4th listen, I gotta say it's pretty damn killer. Many parts remind me of the last Anthrax. Even the choruses. It's just as thrashy as well.

I definitely liked this more than you did. To me this is very "old guy" metal and I'm in my 40s now so it hits the spot. I like this more than all John Bush Anthrax except Sound of White Noise and I like how this is much more aggressive than Armored Saint.

I give the album a 7/10. It's a good record with some amazing leads, but the album lacks cohesion. The album runs a bit too long and the songs could've been more dynamic. However, it's a fun record.

Great review, as always fellas. I usually am not into the supergroup thing, but this seems like it be worth checking out. Like you guys said, John Bush is John Bush!
  • @jms980
I thought the same thing, that John Bush and Jason Bittner were the highlights. The songs were just ok, there were a few good ones, but mainly it was disappointing

4.5/5.0 I really loved this record. I thought it was a great follow up to the last Anthrax with John Bush. I liked the vocals, shredding on guitar, good riffs, good vocal melodies, and solid rhythm section. But you like what you like 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Jason Bittner freaking KILLS! on this record.
  • I need to check this out. Bush is one of the best vocalists no doubt, but most of his songwriting has me scratching my head. Hopefully there are some clever verses on here
  • I saw Armored Saint live back in 1984 open for Metallica Ride the Lightning tour. I love Jon Bush's voice but something was just off
  • You guys need to review that new Laceration I erode on 20 buck spin album is a beast of skull crushing death metal.
  • @pai.chiart
I’d have a hard time listening to this based off the album cover alone haha

I caught something Jammin jon said around 10:24 when he said " a lot of the songs have the same vibe..." well according to Phil Demmel in an interview he stated he let Mike Orlando bring in the bulk of the riffs and he added to them to "accentuate" and add to the music hence the music sounding the same like Aderenaline Mob'-ish to me? Phil should of taken the reigns more and made it more heavier since Jason killed it but it is what it is.
  • @jbsvikes
The album cover looks more like movie cover than the heavy metal album cover.
  • @DashieNegan41
It's a pretty average album not terrible just okay 2.5/5
  • @franklij1
Same problem as many other super groups. Too many ideas, no lead songwriter with a vision to rein in everything and focus it. Great review as always guys! ❤
