  • RIP Kevin Conroy. I can't begin to describe what your Batman meant for me as a young child to now being an adult. Thank you for it all.
  • This show is literally the peak of animated Batman. The design and art style is timeless.

Rest in Peace, Kevin Conroy. The Best Batman, for 30 years straight.

How you know it wasn't a toxic environment: 1. Nobody takes credit. 2. Everyone praises the efforts/credits others for the project's success. 3. Everyone humbly suggests luck was on their side. Classy, WB 👌👌👌
  • Batman: The Animated Series is a masterpiece.
  • When I read joker's dialogues in the comics I hear mark Hamill's joker voice. Same for Kevin Conroy
  • I came back here to pay my respects. I’m truly heartbroken. Many greats have portrayed the Dark Knight but there was only one who was the definitive voice of Batman and that was Kevin Conroy. Batman will never be the same. RIP Kevin and thank you for everything!
  • 30 years later and Batman: The Animated Series is still the greatest superhero show ever made.
  • @Kalebent
Batman: The Animated Series is the definitive Batman experience.
  • Wish Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill could live forever.
  • I am glad I am not alone in feeling the loss of Kevin Conroy . Its moving to see the outpouring of testimonials .
  • Anyone else watching this after the tragic news today? R.I.P. Kevin Conroy, the true Dark Knight

I never realized how lucky I was to have experienced Batman: TAS from the get go. I loved how his story continued and tied in with Justice League and Batman Beyond.
  • I just met Kevin Conroy recently at a con, and told him pretty much thank you for my childhood and how all the Batman projects he does mean so much to me. He's an awesome guy.
  • "We wanted the show to be appealing to kids, but at the same time we wanted a show that we ourselves as adults would watch." 30 years later and I can say without a doubt that they pulled it off masterfully. Best animated series ever created. Eat your heart out Avatar... Even tho I am just a big of fan of that series too as I am with Batman TAS. Man, we were blessed with some good animation from 1990-2015.
  • This show was very groundbreaking. It created Harley Quinn, wrote Mr Freeze’s tragic backstory, humanised the majority of the villains (Two-Face, Clayface, etc), gave us the definitive voices of Batman and the Joker and kickstarted an animated universe. Edit: I never thought one of my comments would reach 1k likes! Thanks guys!
  • The whole Shirley Walker section caught me off guard. She wrote her own music, conducted the orchestra and, I mean, just hearing what everyone had to say about her and her contribution... it really choked me up.
  • Was 26yrs old when Batman TAS started, 30 yrs later still cherish the program.Thank you Mr.Conroy ,you will be missed.
  • I truly believe that the animated series is the best rendition of Batman to date. I love the series as a teen, and love it even better as an adult.
