I love how christians are fighting for this to not be a gay song and to be a christian song while in the chorus it littlearly says how the church is stabbing ur back and its a shrine of lies.

i'm from a catholic school and a member of a poetry club. The teacher showed this to us and told us to decipher both the lyrics and the music video. It was a bit awkward at first but for people who is into poetry, we should be open for almost everything. I treated this as a new perspective back then. I still love this to this day
