Off the coast of Alaska, bombers from Russia and China flew together for the first time in international airspace off the coast of Alaska, in a new show of expanding military cooperation that U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said Thursday raises concerns. These flights were not seen as threats, but this was the first time that Chinese bomber aircraft have flown within the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone. This was also the first time Russian and Chines aircraft have taken off from the same northeast Russia base. Former Senior Defense Intelligence Official Mark Chandler joined LiveNOW from FOX to further discuss.

They are doing what the sniper did with his drone. Probing. Hopefully our Air Force has a better response than the SS did.
  • The action wasn't intended as a test of response. The action was intended to send a message about who was flying together..

Camella: We're going to Alaska. We've been to Alaska. We've been to Alaska.

Seeing our response time. China after all flew a spy balloon over us and it took a rancher to call it in before Joe told the military to do something. Yes this happens but in the times we're in,it becomes serious

This is the epitome of how weak America is perceived

Not seen as a threat? What is going on with our leaders?!?!?
  • @timmeier2001
Why? Are you not talking about the over one million Chinese that are in the upper part of Canada. And the 40000 that came over our Southern border. These are military age Chinese people.

everyone flying around together isn't that sweet. 🤗
  • Your "expert" is clueless. The Chinese Xi'An H-6 is a licensed built copy of the Russian Tupolev TU-16 (Badger) not the TU-95 (Bear). Any fool can see that the Chinese H-6 is a jet and the TU-95 Bear is a Turbo-prop (propeller driven). These two aircraft look nothing alike. Fact check your "experts".

There's also Chinese submarines hanging out around Cuba. The U.S. better be ready for a surprise attack...

Not seen as a threat, then why send a response of fighters? IT's A THREAT ! ! !

What happens when our president's only response is Don't 👉

1:42 - Correction - The Chinese H-6 is a licensed produced version of the Soviet Tu-16 "Badger" bomber, not the Tu-95 "Bear" bomber. The H-6 has 2 jet engines, the Tu-95 has 4 contra-rotating turboprop (propeller) engines.
