If convicted he must be sentenced to prison to reinforce no man is above the law.
  • It cracks me up, GOP’s are like, I reject your jacked up reality and substitute it with my own jacked up reality because it now suits us.

What gets me is the people saying the jury might not believe Cohen. Seriously? The man lied to Congress at the instruction of his then-boss and ended up not only doing time for it, but spending time in solitary confinement. The man has a young family. Why would we believe he would knowingly lie on the stand now and risk a perjury conviction? The media, in general, really needs to stop the incessant drumbeat of overzealous and unrealistic drama. The tail now wags the dog. 😕

A conviction without a custodial sentence is going to make a heap of folk very angry.

Technically Cohen's testimony isn't needed. What he brought to the table was confirmed by other witnesses.
  • I do expect the jury to come in with guilty on at least one count of 34, and even only one guilty verdict* should* carry a prison sentence, but I'm a realist and know that because of who he is, he won't. What should happen is he gets home confinement with ankle bracelet monitoring and zero access to social media, just like if was in real prison. Anything less is a travesty of justice!
  • Cohen's testimony was nearly always corroborated in the court room. Of course the jury should believe him.

  • If the majority of republican voters want to get rid of T, they should ask him to take one for the team.
  • Hey, after a guilty of verdict, Trump had better be jailed, immediately, remember Michael Cohen?

Trump's behavior in court alone shows the jury first hand his character. It's a no-brainer.

You don't even need to believe Michael Cohen, you only need to look at all the other evidence to see exactly what these payments were for, in precise detail. On top of that, the defense not only offered no alternative explanation but also behaved disrespectfully and arrogantly throughout the trial. It would be a strange juror indeed who had any doubts at all, let alone reasonable ones.

I hope the Jury work hard. My trust is in them. I hope they find the right decision strictly based on the evidence. Let our Democracy last.
