Britannia Cue Review - Choosing a Cue | Pool School

Pool School now has a new sponsor, Table Time Sports. As part of that new partnership I was sent one of their products to review. They sent me a Britannia pool cue called "The Bullet" which is part of their pro range. It is a British pool cue and I was invited to give me thoughts on the cue. I was not paid for the review, other than receiving the cue for free, and all views are my own honest and personal opinion.

In the video I also talk about choosing a pool cue and look at things to consider such as weight, length, tip size etc.

Table Time Sports are offering a promotional offer to any Pool School viewers that decide to purchase a cue from their website. In your cart, simply type "PoolSchool" to receive the following:
1. Free delivery
2. 12 pack of Triangle Chalk
3. Cue Slicker
4. Magnetic Chalk holder

Congrats on your sponsorship, it's very well deserved. Your channel has been an inspiration to me. Keep up the excellent videos 👍

Funny you should drop this vid. I acquired a Britannia Invincible recently, nice cue.

Nice review. When I choose a cue - 9.5 mm tip 18.5oz 57 inches. Tapered butt end (don’t like rounded). Also finish has to be natural so that it doesn’t become “sticky” in high humidity. And centre split. For me the 3/4 split makes the butt end feel too heavy.

Congratulations on the sponsor. Pretty big step for you and the channel! Unfortunately I don't think I could buy a cue without holding it in my hands first, I've been looking but places to shop are surprisingly few and far between

as a player with a beard, I have struggled with Ash cues, the wider grain has snagged my beard mid shot!, I didn't know it was a thing until googling it!, Maple has resolved that for me.This obviously means no chevrons at all. I picked up a second hand John Paris Maple cue with a 6.7mm tip which i felt was too small so got an inch chopped off the pointy end, now it's 7.5. I'm really happy with it. Again personal preference!

Looks like a nice online shop, a lot of products and good prices. Unfortunally I'm from Spain and they don't ship here.

For a second there I thought you said a 300 lbs cue. Took me a bit to realise you meant the British currency.
  • Hi, is the promotion still running as i would like a britannia cue?
  • @cn3756
I'm surprised they use ash. Those trees are considered junk trees in North America. It's nice to know they are useful for cues. Appreciate the videos

Can u use that size tip to play snooker not just pool 😊

Congrats on the sponsor. I couldn't finish watching the video because I was just irritated by the amount of times you said 'erm'.
