I have a 2023 version and i love it! The only wish i have with it was more range. Everything else is spectacular!

Nice video I actually own 2 of the XC recharges in the household and they are pretty great. Was considering the c40 but as a family man I needed the extra boot space.

I have an XC-40 Recharge with the same "small" center screen. I consider it a plus. From a design standpoint, I just think it looks better in the car and doesn't look like someone just attached a computer monitor to your vehicle. While a larger screen could be helpful while using navigation, or maps - the built in google maps works very well and will tell you ahead of time where to turn so there isn't a need to reference the map often. In addition, there is a smaller map that you can use right in the instrument cluster if so desired, that gives a zoomed in view. Overall, the build quality, design and traditional physical controls sold me on my Volvo. It's solid. The Model 3 for me is too radical a departure from traditional vehicles with everything on the touch screen and also strikes me as primarily a cost saving measure.

How much KW does it use at 110 km/h. I know the Xc40 does like 21. In contrast the Model Y does 17.

When criticising the info display size you totally fail to mention the large gorgeous driver display that other cars do not have (Tesla).
  • I have been driving the sister car XC40 for a few years and if I had been given the option, I would of opted for the single motor version w longer range. The duel motor provides way more acceleration then I would need and longer range would be nice instead. Thx for the vid. I enjoyed watching.
  • But where the electricity come from? windmills we cannot recycle / coal /and so on?

Ive only got the core model the new rear wheel drive ,its devoid of any luxury Features does seem to be solidly built buts its too expensive and not very efficient consuming 24 kw and comes nowhere near its advertised 570km range probaly because of its suv shape and all the unseen safety features adding weight .

I’m a V90 CC owner. The efficiency rating of the Volvo C40 is ummmm… horrible.

too expensive for a SUV, better to wait for the BYD Song L
