I feel SUPER BAD for Miles. Not only did he have to fight Phin when she went bad, but now Peter too? Guy just can't catch a break. 😂

Peter becoming Venom would make a lot of sense from a gameplay perspective as well because it would be way easier, I think, for Insomniac to have you play as Venom through Peter rather than making a completely separate, third playable character. I can easily imagine Peter, while in the symbiote suit, having us as the player simply press a button to unleash Venom form which could act as a sort of "beast/rampage mode" if you will.

Man... Thinking about how crushed Peter was to find out Otto had done and continued to do what he was doing despite knowing— That whole "You knew..?" scene from the ending of Spider-Man PS4 :still: tears me to pieces. There's not a realm existing that could tear me away from this game.

I feel like Peter will become Venom halfway through the story and end up being a boss fight and then Venom finds a new host (Eddie or Harry) and they will be the Venom we face at the end

I really wanna know if the iron spider legs from the initial announcement are gonna be replacing the abilities that the symbiotes gives you once Peter loses the symbiote in the story and Venom gets it. (assuming he doesn't become Venom himself.)

While I do think Eddie will become Venom near the end of the game I do agree that Peter will become Venom around the point where the symbiote will finally reveals how dangerous it is leading to Miles fighting and snapping Peter out of it. Not to mention it would be poetically ironic that Kraven would be the one to face the full wrath of Venom when that happens as a way to have him go from predator to prey

Funny enough, as soon as the helicopter or whatever it was flew over the football field, it instantly took me back to the opening of Ultimate Spider-Man where Peter and Venom fight in the rain. That would be fucking awesome if they called back to that with Miles fighting Peter in his hoodie.

What do we think about the symbiote taking control of the players inputs in certain situations so it would feel like we don’t have total control just like Peter?🤷🏾♂️

This is why I love insomniac when they do stuff in the trailer and make changes when the game actually releases I swear if we get a miles vs Peter fight scene I’m gonna scream. The game is still set to release in fall so hopefully it releases in September but if anything it might release in October

To add to all this and to the part where you said why would venom step up and say "we will" if you think about it Peter said something similar in the gameplay demo "if kraven wants a hunt I'll give him one he'll never forget "

I feel like Pete becoming Venom would a unique twist that isn't very common. In the card Eddie signed it seems like he's cool withe Peter so it wouldn't make sense to hate him all of a sudden. Plus it'll be exciting seing how far Peter goes with him being increasingly aggressive and all.

I predict in the fight you have with an almost venom-fied peter, bits of Tony Todd's voice will start coming out more and more, you then beat him as miles and repel it, and then the symbiote goes to whoever venom is supposed to be

It definitely looks like Miles is gonna have to superhero static shock the ever living daylights out of Peter to get the symbiote off of him, if the logo reveal at the end of the trailer is anything to go by.
