Anyone who has played Minecraft hunger games knows you don’t go into that freaking starting area You book it as far away from other players as physically possible Way easier to take on one person you found in the woods than a group of 3 people while also worrying about the 7 others who are like 2 feet away and might decide to shank you at any time without warning

Hey, now that Style Theory is a thing, maybe the team should come back to this franchise to cover some fashion choices: what's some of the ways clothes will help you survive the elements (or challenges), what fabrics would have let them safely perform the fire stunts, etc

Now, imagine that all 24 tributes have seen these Hunger Game theory vids. They've seen the guide. They have a near perfect strategy. They know what to do to make their odds for survival higher. MatPat showed them. The Games are starting. The countdown is over. Everyone's released. Everybody runs off into the forest simultaneously because collecting weapons is too risky. Everybody looks around. "What the fuck?"

3:04 The tributes have varying ages because the 75th pulled victors of all ages (E.G Mags was elderly because she won the 11th games when she was a teenager & Katniss is only 17 fighting a bunch of adults in the 75th hunger games because she won only a year ago)

Fun fact: The girl that died from eating poison berries was seen in the film studying which berroes and plants are poisonous, which some fans have taken as a sign of deliberate intent to commit suicide.

One other thing: Rub the knives on poisonous plants to make poison knives. So even if you only hit someone in, say, the leg, they're still done.

Knives are cool and all but I’d rather tie it to the end of a stick. Spears and polearms have been hunting tools and battlefield weapons since before the Bronze Age, and they’re also relatively easy to learn compared to other weapons. If you have a time crunch and have to become proficient in a weapon in a very little amount of time, my bet is spear. they also have a range advantage too so everyone with their tiny little knives aren’t gonna be able to reach you before you reach them
