Lee Maracle is a member of the Stó:lo Nation, granddaughter of Chief Dan George, and a celebrated novelist and poet. She is winner of numerous awards and is an Officer of the Order of Canada. In our February 2021 lecture, Maracle lightheartedly shares Indigenous stories from thousands of years of history of the Island we now predominantly know as Canada, especially focusing on Vancouver and its neighbouring cities.
