I grew up in Cache Valley and personally met and taught the gospel of Jesus Christ alongside one of the 3 Nephites..when you looked into his eyes they were filled with the spirit. It looked like they were on Fire. My greatest experience was seeing the Son of God in all his Glory filled with unconditional love
  • My mom was from Logan and I remember hearing a couple of these stories. She was baptized in the Logan temple. Back in those days (1930s) she said that when kids turned eight they were told to just go to the temple after school and someone would baptize them. So that's what she did. She said her mom or dad or other family members weren't there, no big deal was made of it, it was just how things were done. My grandfather was an artist and I was told he painted some murals in that temple, but I've been told they were painted over during a later renovation. My parents were married there.

I am only a second generation member of the Church. I guess that gives me more opportunities to do Temple work! But I love hearing the Pioneer stories. The Nephite warriors were an answer to prayer. I wonder how tall they were. The Book of Mormon says that Nephi was a large & mighty man. ❤

This video came across my recommended videos. Lance was my priest quorum leader nearly 25 years ago. He's a man who truly lives what he preaches! Great to see you again my friend!

I LOVE these stories! I’ve had AMAZING things happen to me at the Idaho Falls temple that most people wouldn’t believe if I told them. I KNOW they happened, as did the stories told in this video. I also know that I have experienced these incredible things because of my belief that they can happen to anyone and I ASK for such encounters to happen. Pure innocent faith makes miracles happen! Thank you for being brave enough to post this video.
  • Alma Hale is my great-great grandfather. The family history completed by our family continues. The Hale family still has an annual visit to the Logan temple continuing this work and in memory of the experience you shared. This work is so powerful and true.

My parents were sealed to each other and to me and my siblings when i was 2. I have a memory of seeing people dressed in white outside of the temple for as far as i could see. They actually met with the horizion. I also remember my feet with white slippers on them.i believe this is a true memory. I also remember seeing many people outside my house as a child. These people were not dressed in white and I knew they were spirits. Some were comfortable to be around others weren't.

I love Cache Valley and in the last few years, I have been drawn here and have found that I have much of rich family connections in this beloved valley. I now live in Logan part time and the Logan Temple is always always so so so busy!! When it closes, and Smithfield opens, that one will be so busy while the Logan temple is updated.
  • A sweet woman, who I home taught, told me several times that her grandfather? was the 1st president of the Logan Temple. I think I remember her telling a few of these stories.

I come from a Heninger and a Johnson line. Cache Valley and Bear Lake are heaven to me. Plus I’m an Aggie. The Logan Temple is dear to my heart. Thank you for sharing these faithful stories, even ones that include polygamy in a light that isn’t cynical or scandalous! The world can be such a downer, so these stories of a place and a people I know well was uplifting 🙏

My sister married one of Nolan Olsen’s sons. Nolan gave us all the book he compiled along with a square hand made nail from the Logan temple. Really treasured that. Great stories. My wife took out her endowments there.

My husbands family, The Satterthwaite’s are long time residents of Logan, UT. My Father-in law, DeLoyd Satterthwaite was born in Pickleville and raised in Logan. We love the Logan Temple and feel a real connection to it. Thank you for these wonderful stories!
