Couple of take aways. The first exhibit was a classic shotgun match devolving into an uppercut match. A bane of any shotgun enthusiast. This is actually why I've favoured handcannons coupled with a rifle more and more. This also brings forth the option of flechettes and their strength that I think was overlooked a bit here. The long range of flechettes not only enables a respectable two tap range but also makes it as trivial as hip firing to finish up a target tagged by a rifle at medium and even longer ranges. The asshole loadout as I call it. In any case a good and well structured video. Also, your partner has a strong "I don't like it here" energy to him. 😂

I use slugs with the Rival and I like to call it the Drilling we have at home.

something about pennyshot you're not mentioning is it does really high damage against mobs including bosses. one application is that two pennyshots (including from pennyshot derringer) brings a meathead down to almost no health which makes it easy to use them to get unlocks after a prestige. i rarely use the rival but i do like pennyshot quite a lot in all shotguns. if i ever bothered going for wallbangs i might take buckshot more often. i think a video covering the bow and crossbows would be good

don't mind the hip fire stuff with buckshot. there is no benefit to ads. the hipfire stat is pretty much moot. The only time you should ads with a shotty is with slugs. Also, the sticky bomb and shotgun combo is how you kill kill the assassin fast. ther is an odd thing with shotguns and hitting bombs, the more pellets that hit the sticky the more damage it does. i think its a bug but you will slam the boss when you shoot a sticky with buckshot.

I also swore by this shotgun. The hand cannon and the compact Springfield was my first good combo

I use it from time to time, get some great take downs with it. I tend to use it to rush an enemy, get as close as I can and lay down the two shots as fast as possible without aiming. It’s a good shotgun but you have to be more careful when to use it.
