I worked with a BC guy up in Northern Alberta years ago. He was an avid hiker and camper in BC. He showed me pics and video of a pair of sasquatch he seen one day on a rock slide in BC. His jeep was stuck in a creek at the time, and he and his buddy watched the squatch for almost ten minutes. Although they were a long ways off in the video, I'm convinced they weren't bears. Bears couldn't go that far on hind legs on a rock slide.
  • As a (mostly ) lifelong resident of beautiful British Columbia and having spent my early years in the heavily forested interior and coastal northern regions I can tell you with 100% confidence that any animal can easily hide and remain hidden if it wants to. A minimally intelligent Sasquatch could be standing literally meters from you and the only inkling you’d have that something was there would be a pungent odour, which would be dismissed as coming from a bear, skunk cabbage or some other composting organic matter. One thing that’s always made me open to the possibility of a Sasquatch is something my dearly departed grandfather asked me many many years ago. He said “In all my years of living in the bush and hunting big game from the northernmost regions to the southern Fraser Valley area I’ve never seen a dead bear, cougar, wolf or ANY predatory animals carcass laying around… but I know they’re there somewhere.” In the wild woods and mountains most animal encounters can be counted in seconds. I couldn’t count the times I was walking around hunting or getting to my favourite fishing spot on the river when an explosion of feathers and beating wings right beside me as a perfectly camouflaged grouse decided to scare me shitless! By the time my brain realized it was a damn bush chicken it was loooooong gone. So if someone finally stumbled upon a Sasquatch I wouldn’t be surprised at all.

The cinematography, choice of music, the narration... everything is top shelf with STM. Much appreciated.

Thank you for including the interview about PTSD. I have thought about this and imagine it must be any extra layer of hell to be constantly told your trauma isn't real because big foot isn't real. Or to never even express your trauma because of how people will react.

As an individual who has spent 30+yrs in the avian field. Dealing hands on with everything from Warblers to Birds of Prey. I have to say that BC is one of my favorite spots when i'm out in the field doing research. It is just breathtakingly beautiful folks. Your in absolute awe of how vast the territory is. But at the same time how lush and forested it is as well. Just an awesome spot for birding or any wildlife viewing for that matter. So that all said, there is no doubt in my mind that there are Squatches living in this habitat. It's ideal for them they would have everything they need and then some.

I saw a Sasquatch cross the highway behind us while driving on highway 99 just past Lilloet River Rd about 7 years ago. I’ll never forget that experience. It was very quick but there’s no question what it was.

As a guy that was born and raised in Vancouver, this is an amazing depiction of our beautiful BC. Living within an hour of all these historic places, having hiked, camped, and explored (Chehalis River, Norrish Creek, Ruby and Garnet Creek FSR's, Sunshine Valley, and of course Harrison Lake area), it still boggles the mind how beautiful my home is. Excellent work STM!!

There's a Sasquatch living in the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest in Maple Ridge , British Columbia. Know of 2 people that have seen it and had rocks thrown at them and followed while hiking the trails . I've heard something roar that resembled King Kong or a T Rex dinosaur from 5 kms away. I felt the soundwave hit and rumbled my guts . He's up there.

I worked at a Max security in BC for 20 plus years. .. i talked to native elders who were from Chahalis Indian Reservations where the name "SASQUATCH " originated. Several Native Elders told me stories of seeing SASQUATCH and families of them up and around the reservation near Chilliwack and Harrison Lake. Many encounters of then near rivers, eating salmon, feeding their young, and sightings near the deep wooded areas near lakes.

Breathtaking scenery of BC and an excellent look at Sasquatch reports/stories along the way. STM never misses a beat. Great narration and interviews.

Probably the best documentary on Sasquatch I have ever seen and I have seen just about them all. Great stuff. Was a refreshing, and at times encouraging take on things. Well done

Criptids aside, you guys could put together just a wildlife documentary that would be totally mind blowing!❤
  • @cherylhicks1880
I enjoyed this documentary so much. BC is on my bucket list and I hope I get to visit soon. I grew up in SE Texas and I have heard tree knocks and the whoops all my life, but until recently didn't know what I was hearing. I scares me now to think how close I was to these creatures, and didn't know it. I believe they are real.
  • Aleks, your Beyond the Trail series are my favorite of all the STM videos Great work😊
  • It is amazing for someone like me (spanish guy) to get access to this kind of content and researches about Sasquatch, keep up the good work guys! Thanks a lot
