‘Parasite’, in my mind, is without a doubt Bong Joon-ho’s magnum opus, sleek, concise, effective, and simply flat-out entertaining. But more than anything, ‘Parasite’ is an allegory for how capitalism breeds status- and wealth-driven inhumanity.
