A beautiful day in Georgia!

Our stop in Georgia was going to be a day at Adamson Oaks Farm! We did not know what kind of farm this was because we booked this stay through "Harvest Hosts". We knew that there would be animals, but the details were scarce. The reviews of this farm were off the charts, so we figured... what the heck? It had been raining the previous several days in the Southeast. For this reason, we decided that rather than risk being stuck all day long out in the middle of nowhere, that we would spend a few hours in Savanah, GA since it was on the way!
Our first stop was at Clary's Cafe for breakfast! This was a little place in the heart of Old Savanah which was highly recommended by Scott, the host of "Go Small Live Large"! Our visit did not disappoint! It was as advertised. The food was good, the atmosphere was cozy, the interior itself was rustic, and the staff was very friendly. We then decided to visit Fort Pulaski!
Initially, we wanted to go on a highly rated guided tour of Old Savanah! Because the weather was poor due to rain, and cold we scrapped that plan. Fort Pulaski was interesting, and well worth the few hours that we spent there! Once our visit to the Fort was completed it was time to go to the farm!
At first glance it looked barren! We were directed to a flat field where we could park the RV anywhere. Once we found our spot, we took a short walk to a nearby pond which was beautiful, visited with a couple friendly donkeys which came our way, and then settled in the RV for lunch. Later we noticed that the farm animals started to wonder toward us. We stepped out of the RV in order to get a closer look, just as the hostess was delivering to us the farm products that we had ordered. As if she was a magnet, all of the farm animals came over to visit her, and us by ...association! Enjoy the video!
