The Māori father showed his unconditional love to his long lost daughter by giving her royal traditional ceremony and a loving welcoming with all the extended family… because that’s his daughter and he wanted everyone to know : the ancestors and spiritual world and the whole world . That’s very important and noble what he just did. As his first born child she has greater mana inherited at birth.

Haka is so moving. I can't imagine a more powerful welcome home to her. Bless her.
-
The second search, the lady had so many relatives. They were all queuing up to get hugs & kisses.
-
Isn’t this reunion beautiful! Can you imagine meeting your Heavenly Father and He welcomes you into his home with all His angels! Wow what a day that will be!
-
The hakka gave me chills. To see her embraced by her culture she doesn't even know much about is awesome. God is good. I wish them many yrs together 😊
-
Wow this was amazing! The Maori family's story pulled at my heart n I was tearing but when the Haka part came I just cried for her n her connection with her beautiful culture and family.

Melissa's husband is a good man. She's blessed. I'm glad she found her Dad.

To me, Tahae Tate is the perfect definition of a true, honest and respectable man. Rikki meeting her whole Máori family was so incredibly touching and emotional. Thank you for sharing this heartwarming story. I wish the Tate family all the best for their future and years of happiness and contentment.

When Rikki said she just wanted them to think of her as theirs my heart shattered into a million pieces. I wish her and her beautiful family all the best

OMG! I'm crying like a baby over here. The second story is so sweet. I am beyond happy that her dads family loves her so very much. Shame on her mothers family for rejecting her because her skin wasn't dark enough for them.
-
To be rejected and be welcomed like a queen on the other part is just beautiful
-
Being of Maori descent and white Australian descent and coming out with tanned skin I was always not dark enough to really feel accepted by my Maori side and too dark to really fit in with my Australian side. So I did me and found my own family and fight on. The struggle is real for mixed blood children. 💜

Mel's husband came across as a very loving, kind and caring person ...a person who cares about his wife;s happiness ..a big hearted guy...that is what impressed me about this video this time
-
This is so great. Really loved the second one especially. So sad she was worried they wouldn't love her because of her mother. Shame on her mom for doing that to her.
-
That was so moving. Especially when the Maori dad said they always new of her spirit and that he had always been her dad. That got me.
-
Mel looks just like her dad. They have so much in common. Her husband seems to have found the perfect father in law. Rikki's welcome by her father was very emotional. What a welcome !
-
Rikki's story grabbed my heart! So lucky to be embraced by Fathers family!

These type of shows always bring me to tears,, because out there somewhere I have a half sister whom I by some quirk of fate, I believe I actually met , she looked so much like my other half sister. I had no clue that my mother had given birth to another child, she did, but adopted her out. This woman told me that she was adopted. We attended Arthur Phillip High’ s “ night School” studying typing and shorthand , in 1965. I wish with all my heart that I could find her
