Disclaimer; I set this during phase 1, right after Noodle moved in! She hasn’t made her room super cool yet! And I kind of regret making 2D’s hair so long in the last video since it’s harder to differentiate phases, oh well.
I took all of your comments on the Charger video into consideration. I was told my last video didn’t do enough in terms of backgrounds, so I tried to make them more detailed this time! It was also mentioned that Noodle seemed out of character, so I did my best to fix that this time as well.
And lastly, everyone wanted more 2D! I know it isn’t what you were expecting, but I tried to make up for the angst with the ending, I don’t like leaving it on a sad note! After all, life has its ups and downs, and Stuart will never be sad forever!

Everyone’s screaming of how cute 2d is being a big bro to Noodle (which is cute). But no one has mentioned that this shows that 2d struggles with who he is. He remembers how he was just Stuart Tusspot (Stu Pot, sorry 2d) and a part of him is sad at the memory of who he used to be before his dark eyes

2D has to deal with all this crap. He got his eyes busted, He was forced to sing in a band, The only thing he has is Noodle and everyone else. And even though Murdoc seems bad, he made the decision to look after 2D in his catatonic state. Gorillaz is rich with lore and i love it.

I like this deeply 2D seeing himself in the mirror is a reminder that he can’t fix himself he feels trapped in his dream too and noodle is like his source of his happiness besides russel but in the video he’s just in that situation that you can’t let something go yet and I know it’s phase one but still it’s something that you can’t let go yet.

I’ve never stopped to think that 2D was forced to sing. Yet with him being trapped on an island with an abusive Bassist, not to mention the fact that Murdoc hit him with a car knocking his eyes out. Poor guy had to leave his old life behind.
