THIS IS THE VIDEO I'VE BEEN BEGGING FOR!!!! I'm sitting here with extremely chafed nips from this morning after having spent a half hour death-scrolling through Amazon looking for something that works; then, like manna from above, this video is at the top of my Youtube feed. Way to give the people what we need!
-
Definitely one of the most important videos a runner should watch! 🏃♂️ 🚿 😱
-
this is gold!

I used body glide, works great, repurchased a couple times then stopped because I think it is expensive here in the UK. The Aptonia one from Decathlon feels like Vaseline and is not as durable. Zone 3 is natural, I still didn't get to use it. Squirrel nut butter I really enjoyed for super long runs, feels also like it nourishes the skin. And lastly, I have used Assos chamois butter for cycling but found it works well for running too but is expensive. As of now, Squirrel nut butter is top of the list, I have the big Jar and the tiny tin

Huge thanks! Had not heard of the Tom's product. Will give it a go ASAP.

One of those perfectly timed videos 😄

I use Chamois butter. V good value for money. Squirrels nut butter is very good but also v expensive

I am very pleased with TRISLIDE skin lubricant spray. I mostly apply it on my toes and I virtually had no issues ever since I started using it.
-
decathlons anti friction cream works for me pretty well
-
I've had excellent results from both body glide and Sport Shield. Currently using Sport Shield and did my last ultra on 1 application and no chaffing at all. I sweat quite a lot when running too but all good. Also covered my feet in it and didn't get any blisters at all 👍

▫I use Excipial Lipocreme (it's 55% lipid content) on feet and nasty bits before the run ▫Libello chap stick as a backup during the run (as it's compact) ▫Comfyballs Performance boxers, prevents the skin-on-skin friction by shifting your bits away from your legs. I never buy shorts with liners as you don't know what you are getting ▫Another tip is to turn the underwear inside out so the seams are on the outside

It's always been spitting on my fingertips and gently massaging it onto my nipples from about mile 18 for me, so I appreciate this video 🙌🏻
-
The best one I used in training and for marathons is Sudocrem (Nappy cream), cheap and effective, 60 gr for travel and a400gr for home :) i have seen also that Ben Parkes used this one :)

I find Vaseline works just fine, and it's the cheapest. The only issue is it can stain clothes a bit.
-
Bepanthen works wonders for me.
-
Having used bodyglide for years I've just bought the 2Toms for my Comrades attempt in June. Will see how I get on.
-
Never had a nipple issue but long runs can chafe upper thighs near the butt, skin glide in the green tube has worked best for me even up to a 55k. The lotion style is more sterile than trying to rub a bar up near the buttocks. Gross for sanitation and reuse. That's why I like the lotion style.
-
Can we use boroplus on chafing or related ares
-
The 2Toms lid needs some texture - very hard to grip once it gets the lube on it! 😂 Also I did get some hard to remove marks on one of my shirts from it, but generally not the case so perhaps overapplied or a certain fabric more susceptible... It is generally very good however, and not too exorbitantly priced.

Surgical micropore tape for nipple rubbing, cheap as chips and works for the vast majority of runs! About a tenner for a box of 12 rolls that lasts for ever!
