My wife is completely not interested in having a intimate and committed relationship. She is just going with the flow just doing what’s best for her. Here trying to learn.

Many times us women really feel like men just don’t care about their relationship with us. It‘s nice to see men actually do care about their partners & relationships and try to be better. This gives me hope.

I’m going through a divorce & in the very early stages. This video is amazing and I feel like I’ve tried so hard to change my marriage. He’s just giving up which might be the best thing for me. Not sure yet, I’m torn but the evidence speaks for itself. I can’t honestly remember the last time my husband said I was pretty or even the last time we had sex is so sad. I’m so broken and I’ve tried for 12 years 😢

Exactly spot on! Estranged husband did all of the mistakes and now we are getting divorced because he gave up on us…. Have come to accept he lacks character and maturity to do the work to save our marriage. I feel jealous and happy at the same time for couples who do work out, because at least they have a husband who didn’t give up… MEN do NOT give up on your wife/marriage!

That is exactly word for word is what has happened in my 30 year marriage. I’ve been a total idiot. She had tried to tell me so many times and I’ve just ignored her or blamed her and now She is done and filing for a divorce. She has desperately pleaded with me cried to me begged me to stop this thing I was doing. I kept blaming her the entire time, I told her she was wrong the problem was her and I was gonna change and I never did. I have loved her since I was 15! I love her now more than I ever have and I sincerely do. I cannot imagine my life without her and when I try to I get extremely sad depressed heartbroken Angry and i have serious panic attacks. I had no damn clue that I was doing this to her and I want to call her right now and tell her how sorry I am. I love everything about this woman. It’s four fifteen now in about 2 hours im calling her and telling I’m a idiot and I get it now! I pray to god she is receptive of what I’m going to be saying to her. Which is please baby I get it now! And I’m so so sorry.. just be a little more patient. I’m begging you please, I’m so so so sorry. Let me try one more time . God willing I mean please god I’m begging you give her the courage to open her heart to me one more time. With gods will I will not fail her this time . Thank you so much for putting this in terms we can understand! Have i mentioned that I love her! 😍

I’ve literally made ALL of these mistakes. I don’t think there’s a chance in my marriage at this point. 😞 I don’t want to give up. I’m gonna keep making the changes necessary in hopes that I can help myself and she’ll see that.

This is very insightful - the problems are not the problem. But, are not dismissing, defensiveness, lack of acknowledgement, and failure to understand. Aren’t these under the rubric of communication? When I found out my ex husband was involved in an affair I filed for divorce. I knew I would never be able to deal with a second infidelity. Our marriage was on the rocks anyways.
