Instant Classic Game: Here are the final 6 minutes of play from the Hokies' 38-35 win over the Hurricanes in Blacksburg, Va.

My program was acting up, and I somehow missed editing one commercial break out...sorry...just skip over it.

GO HOKIES

Whoever made the decision to play sandman at that time was a genius

When Enter Sandman starts at 23:50. That's why nothing beats College football. Nothing. Much respect to you guys. Great tradition.
  • Who still out here rewatching this? Being there was something else, even now in 2018 there hasn’t been a sports game that’s I’ve been too that’s come close to this. LETS GO!!!

Watching in 2020 hoping we can have moments like this again ,60,000+ in a stadium going wild for the Hokies and Enter Sandman

This is just spectacular...these people...are losing...their MINDS!!!! During the last Miami drive, I turned to my wife in the stands and said, "they need to play sandman" and they did like 10 seconds later...this was amazing...
  • As a Mississippi State, it’s fantastic seeing things like this, but it’s even better that when the game clock has 0:56 left in the game, there is still at least 14 minutes left in the video.

I'm on a string of rewatching great VT games of recent years! Just came from Nebraska '09 and before that Bama of '09. Next up after this maybe Boise '10 or Michigan in the Orange Bowl. Great times these years, let's get it back on track Hokies!

I was at this game. It was the loudest game this stadium has ever been.

No, that was Sean McDonough and Matt Millen. Sidenote: Sean McDonough was the lead announcer for the VIrginia Tech - WVU back in '99, and gave the quote, "They're still alive back in Blacksburg!" after Shayne Graham's winning field goal.
