  • @danielshadler2138
dudes a certified Botanist, Biologist, Chemist, Mycologist, and Ecologist. This is the coolest man I've ever seen.
  • @GiantPetRat
As someone who's enjoyed his main channel Crime Pays But Botany Doesn't for a few years now, I gotta say it is quite frankly bizarre to see him so clean and collected. Usually he's swearing up a storm about the state of suburban sprawl and stuff like that.
  • This man is teaching about plants while dressed all in green and with a lot of plant tattoos. I am very happy about this.
  • @ShrubSSBU
This guy is the definition of "never judge a book by its cover"
  • @VLOGERFY
The next Pokemon Grass-type gym leader NEEDS to be based off this guy.
  • @vectorwolf
I love that he's absolutely covered in ink... and it's all botanical. 10/10
  • @keth8947
This guy is literally the embodiment of breaking down stereotypes. I would have had ZERO idea he would have anything to do with plants, let along be wicked intelligent about it.
  • @satan4047
This is the guy we want as a teacher. It'd be cool to have him.
  • I'm sorry, but did you find the best person to talk to me about plants in the history of man? I want more of this guy.
  • @kootiblu113
I don't know if this is still the case but Joey said he didn't get paid yet for this video. PAY UP for the great content! He deserves it.
  • @TiJoe6
I’m so glad about his message on plant medicine. The “it’s natural, it’s better” mentality drives me insane.
  • @LydJaGillers
So weird to have him end a video without “gfy bye” 😂. I really liked this one and truly appreciate how it covered so many plant topics. Thanks Joey! You’ve really amped up my appreciation of native plants and now I can’t stop looking for them in every place I go.

This man is self-taught. I have followed him for a while. He has grown so much in popularity that schools now turn to him. He even answers someone who asks him how to become a botanist.
  • @bridgetrose9407
Joey is fantastic and Wired really should credit his personal youtube channel: "Crime Pays but Botany Doesnt". He's amazing.
  • @_ZeroQueen_
I love how he calls himself a mook and then goes into these pretty in depth explanations about plant anatomy and geneology. He also looks great in green and is smashing the idea that smart people can't have tattoos or accents.
  • @CARATMom
Bring him back. We need a part 2
  • @theBoonarmies
Nothing better than an aggressively working class accent dropping extreme knowledge. 10/10, an unbeaten genre, Love it.
