They should still make a classic version, with virtually identical appearance to the original, but with modern technology under the hood, like the EV drivetrain. Essentially a "resto mod"

Those lights from the gullwing doors to the V-shape at the bumper is like a tribute to the Back to the Future's Flux Capacitor

I'm amazed that she didn't mention that the original run of 88 of these cars is a tribute to the Back To The Future DeLorean's 88mph that it needed to reach to time travel. Such a missed opportunity.

Just what I always wanted. A car that makes me wear a bracelet and takes my biometric readings, for no other reason than to let my family members make the seat hug me or blow air on my neck. I'll definitely be getting this car and using that feature 3 or 4 times on each drive.

I actually owned a DMC-12 five speed about twenty years ago. It was in great shape and most of the time I kept it in a museum about 45 mins away. It was a lot of fun and was such a unique car. It had a few design flaws, like the fuel pump relay that I had to resolder myself and a sloppy stick shift linkage, but still really cool. The rare occasions that I took it out for a ride sure attracted lots of attention and many conversations. I would let anyone sit in it if they asked and people were really respectful. Brings back happy memories...

The turn off was the “All Electric”! Look how hard it was for Marty and Doc to get the gigawatts needed to charge the battery!!

Class looking motor ! Saw a De lorean at a car event that had been cleverly converted to all electric by a wind energy company. We had to queue to see the Delorean whereas the supercars barely got a second glance. The take off speed was phenomenal. Brings a whole new meaning to 'Back to the Future'.

The reason why Hyundai N Vision 74 looks like the original DeLorean is because N Vision 74 is the remake of 1974 Hyundai Pony Coupe that was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro who later, designed the original DeLorean. This is one of the biggest reasons why many DeLorean fans love it. It has a huge connection with the original designer. Now, if it came with gull-wing doors, the transformation would be complete.

Trust me, no one in the world will see this car and say, "Wow! That car reminds me of the DeLorean from Back to the Future!" That award goes to Hyundai N Vision 74.

We all hope Delorean will make it this time. I wish them the best of luck and huge success and profits so they can continue to exist and make our lives more fun.

The "kissing"& "Hugging" thing is creepy if you ask me. I would disable THAT function right away. Heated seats for winter, cooled seats for summer, THAT I'd like. I would also prefer doors that could both, open like conventional as well as gull wing, in case of cramped in spaces and (God forbid) a roll over. Let's face it, someone IS going to do something stupid at a high rate of speed and land it in on its roof.

This definitely needs more development. It has some cheesy gimmicks, but doesn’t wow you.

The HYUNDAI VISION N74 looks way more incredible. The perfect homage to the DMC

I love the idea of this car. Although I think the company is still misguided, doing through backs in the interior while coming up with a new exterior design is weird. Are you a new DeLorean or the still struggling old DeLorean. Honestly copying the ionic 5 design and making the old DeLorean design retro and electric would have been an absolutely smashing strategy.

The old one looks more futuristic than this new one. Also, I want the old one to Fly.
