Humminbird Helix Down Imaging Settings and Images

If you have been having trouble dialing in your down imaging, this video will help you improve the quality of your images. I will share a variety of my on the water images with explanations of what you are seeing. You will also learn to interpret simulation down images using various down imaging settings. Learning to tinker with your settings will enhance image clarity. I will also share the personal settings that I use as my general starting point. Keep in mind there are no perfect settings and you have to play with the settings to match the lake conditions that you fish.

This is the type of video I have been looking for. You didn't start out yelling, "What's up?" at me and there is no crazy music. I don't want to be entertained, I want to be educated and this video, (and hopefully your others), feels like a true instructional tool. Thank you!

Wow! I have had my Helix 7 Mega DI for a year and never had great screen shots like those. I watched your great video all the way through first, then again as I changed the settings on my unit and wow, the final result is very much like your Helix 12 example. I did have to choose color pallet 3 to get the colors like you get with color pallet 2 on your 12. Thank you so much for doing this, cant wait to try it on the lake. Looking forward to your 2D settings video. Thanks!!!

Steve, You're videos on the Helix MEGA SI DI GPS G3 are FANTASTIC. These are the BEST videos of the multitude I have viewed. Just packed with info. I keep learning something new every time I review your videos. You explain things very well and in depth. I've only used my Helix 7 once so far and am just itching to set it up next week on my next trip. Hummingbird should seriously look at hiring you!!!

Steve, another fantastic Video. Very informative and clearly understood your voice. This season have been able to dial in my information on screen a LOT BETTER. I've got a couple of newbies to the HB units and your videos have been recommended to them. Also helping me give good info to them.
