The online mode was really underrated, you could play tons of worlds made by other people, and Disney would hold events where they highlighted the best worlds. It's a shame the online mode no longer works, even in the PC versions

It’s so weird looking back on this game as an actual game. This might be one of my most played games of all time, but it was always just me and my sister playing around with the characters. We treated it like a literal toy box, and I think that’s where the game truly shined.
-
I actually talked to the designer for those figures last year and he told me that Goofy was considered for 3.0 expansions but due to the cancellation of Disney Infinity, it didn’t happen. Disney Infinity was definitely such a unique gaming experience, especially collecting these figures and I still own them to this day.
-
Disney Infinity's cancelation was one of the saddest moments in my childhood.
-
These games were the majority of my late childhood. They will always have a special place in my life.
-
I still think the best "toys to life" idea was LEGO Dimensions (considering the actual figures and builds were usable outside of the game), but Disney Infinity was crazy at its peak, and I wish I had been able to play it when it was popular
-
Fun fact: these games do still exist, but only on PC. Each game ended up getting Gold Editions, which had every character, play set, and level that released, as well as some that never made it in their full releases. If you haven’t already, I recommend giving these games a look.

I'm surprised Scott didn't mention Toy Box Takeover, which is the closest thing to that all-character campaign mode he kept saying he wanted.
-
Disney Infinity 3.0 was basically what the game should’ve been from the beginning. Then they could’ve just continued to release a whole bunch more characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, etc. And then made a sequel with a game mode where you can actually have characters from different franchises interact, since it is supposed to be a crossover game. Then after they bought Fox, they could’ve released a whole new batch of characters for the 2nd game
-
0:29 one of my favorite Scott the Woz lines ever
-
3.0 was a beauty and i still play the toybox today. Once you build your world and get used to building in the toy box it can be literaly any game you can think of. Ive recreated multiple battlefront 2 maps to making captain america goes to iraq for oil. Pretty much anything is possible and can always return wit a new way to play.

11:36 Use this as your Duck Degrading button.

My favorite thing is when you had a parent who liked to clean your room for you occasionally and out all your infinity stuff into one box and then you couldn’t figure out which one worked out which base went with 2.0 and 3.0 and then you drive yourself nuts trying to seperate them for the rest of your life.
-
This screamed "Wasted Potential" They could've had a mega campaign: something like Kingdom Hearts where you can play with characters from multiple different universes. Sigh. What a massive waste of potential indeed 😢
-
Man this really is a "Disney Infinity Series Retrospective - Scott the Woz Segment" moment edit: out of all the comments i've posted on both this and my other channel, why is this one the most liked?
-
The opening of Disney Infinity 2.0 with Aladdin and Stitch and Yuri Lowenthal narrating was the only part I enjoyed as a kid. I’d just keep pressing new game and play that part
-
im glad somebody is talking about the blatant absence of goofy in the disney infinity franchise, ive felt silent for YEARS and you make me feel heard scott ❤️
-
No joke, my little brother still plays this game all the time. He just likes setting up a bunch of enemies and fighting them all or racing in the cars world.
-
most underrated game of all time this is the game that got me into gaming and 3.0 is still imo one of the best games ever made
-
absolutely LOVED playing 3.0 with my siblings, the toy box was fun to just get a bunch of helicopters and ramps, as well as just fun splitscreen disney action. Probably some of my best early gaming memories with family.
