If you ever meet Carlos in person, you will find he is a kind, humble man without an ounce of arrogance. I was so fortunate to speak with him at a NAMM show in the early 90s at the PRS booth. What a nice guy.

I played Europa for a friend's wedding dance. I was 17. It was 1977. They turned the lights down ..I was dressed all in white. Someone said they thought I was Carlos! It was the first time I ever performed in public. Memorable, to say the least. Had the distinct pleasure of meeting him once. Thanks to Carlos, Tom Coster, and Armando Peraza.
