Three North Koreans want to tell the world about the situation in the country.

They expose, for the first time, the disaster unfolding there since the government sealed the borders more than three years ago starvation, brutal crackdowns and no chance to escape.

Under the tyrannical rule of Kim Jong Un, North Koreans are forbidden from making contact with the outside world.

A spokesperson for the North Korean government has disputed the claims, which they said were “not entirely factual”.

This makes me feel so incredibly privileged to live in a free country. Nobody should ever have to live like this.
  • those 3 people risking their lives to share us whatever is going on are so brave

"We are trapped here starving and waiting to die" - it doesn't get more sobering than that.

It's mental that South Korea offered to send food and the North Korean leadership got offended and told them to shut up

He literally owns the country and all the people within the country are his workers/slaves… that’s messed up

It would be nice if there wasn't a thumbnail for another video blocking the end of the video so that we could read the concluding statement.

It’s 1984 novel playing out in real time. The impact of living like this is so profound that we, on the outside, cannot truly comprehend how deeply difficult their lives, on a day to day, minute by minute, actually is. How unfair it is to have been born in to such a hellish situation. 😢

It is a horrendous situation for the people of North Korea, yet the wealthy will not suffer at all. My heart goes out to all of them.

The North Korean people desperately need our support! Please use your freedom and voice to these voiceless people.

Kim Jong Un looks like he is eating well. Maybe too well.

As a Chinese I am shocked to learn how bad the current situation is in North Korea. Growing up I've always heard stories of North Koreans trying to seek refuge in one of our local towns bordering the country. But I didn't know the people's lives got this bad after COVID. Here I am playing Diablo 4 at home while listening to YouTube and planning with my friends to go party at a KTV later this evening, while an entire country just a mile away is starving to death. I am so shocked. I'm also ashamed how our government is openly in support of North Korean's government.

How could a leader do this to their own people. My heart breaks for them.

I remembered the famine in the 90’s someone snuck a film out, I saw children on the streets, weak from starvation, it impacted me - children, no one can help. I’ve been interested ever since.

Once upon a time there was a similar situation: A fat king, an ignorant queen, and their starving people. It ended in the French Revolution. About time the people take their future in their own hand.

I'm currently 25 years old and I hope to see freedom for the people of North Korea during my lifetime

I live in Iran. If you live anywhere except North Korea, you should be thankful because, if you are not satisfied with your own country and government, at least you have the option to immigrate to other places. North Korea, on the other hand, is like a big prison with borders surrounding the entire country.

so instead of building infrastructure to feed his people, he builds fences to keep them in. Brutal, absolutely brutal.

Hes the only one to blame for their demise. He could turn things around, but would rather kill everyone.
