The smartest thing a player can say in a contract negotiation is that he wants to remain with the team. It puts the fan base behind the player. I really don't understand players that take different tactics. This is the smart move. Great job BA. You will win over so many fans with that comment and they will want the team to resign you even more.

BA just needs to be patient...a good deal will get done...he's signed for this year...needs to chill and have faith in the niners and himself ❤❤❤❤ Gooooooo Niners ❤❤❤❤
-
I watched the 9er game highlights for 2023 season and BA was VITAL to the success, a real impact player. They need BA if they want to operate at highest level. New rookies bring no guarantee of productivity. 9er losses last season involved injured receivers.

Best news all day!!!

PAY THE MAN!
-
Let’s Goooo! NNNNIIIINNNNEEEERRRRSSSS #FTTB GOD BLESS
-
Then show up and honor the contract that you're still in.
-
BA will be a Niner for many years. Don't worry! Go BA! GO NINERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Bruh please sign the 26-27 mil per year
-
If he in fact has been offered 26M a year. Sign the frikin deal! You’ll be rich beyond your wildest dreams and get to stay where everyone important to you is at.

Alot of GREAT games coming up, both home and away, but for me, living in central Canada, and growing up a Vikings fan converted mostly to SF fan, for me that’s one of the games I most anticipate. Cause to be honest, the only, even slight chance I’ll get to watch a Niners game live, would be in Minnesota

Great news. I hope this puts the pressure on the 49ers to get a new deal done. I think it's bad for team morale to have a great player who the 49ers drafted and does everything (including block like a machine) to get hardballed and pushed out
-
Let him play out the contract. If he wants to stay it can't be 30 million. 26 tops
-
Everyone asking for raise like we just won a superbowl..
-
If the Vikings think that it is smart to virtually give their entire salary cap to one overrated player, let the Vikings try that strategy. HOW MANY SUPER BOWLS HAVE THE VIKINGS WON? ANSWER: ZERO.
-
The 49ers should pay BA $10M more in guaranteed money than what Hill is getting.
-
"I want to be a 49er beyond this season... ... on MY terms."
-
The 49ers can just let BA play out the fifth year of BA's contract, and then match any offer from another team. I predict a compromise this year, however, after a holdout through at least some part of training camp this season, and then a guaranteed for BA salary cap friendly extension.

Excited for Ricky Pearsol in the slot!

Over the top contracts are destroyer’s of teams. These players deserve just compensation for their performance, but we fans deserve that championship.
