I'm putting this before I even hear your pick, but Cemetery Man was quite a surprise. Like how abstract.

What also came to mind for me was Sleepaway Camp, but I got to tell you, I think this one edges it out because it's an even deeper level of disturbing. Damn good job because this one wasn't what came to mind for me, but you are so right. The first time I watched it, knowing nothing, the ending made me feel totally gob smacked. I had to watch it again and knowing made it all the more disturbing. It's really one of those films you only can only see one way one time, because once you know, everything is recontextualized and you view the film very differently.

This is a movie that smacks you around as you watch it, and the ultimate revelation is a gut punch that doubles you over.

The Perfume of the Lady in Black (1974), shocking to say the least...

YES!!! Oh boy, Carlin's work is cut out for him!

I’ll watch this movie first, then I’ll make my decision but I heard this movie is a masterpiece.
