What I love about these videos. These are real life problems average people run into when trying to replace stuff. When you look at most big box instructional videos, all the fittings and everything is brand new and super easy to replace. My old kitchen sink looks just like this underneath...nothing easy. Thanks Steve.

I literally spent all day trying to find a tool that could take off that kitchen faucet nut beneath the sink and hours later, lots of frustration, multiple trips to home depot and feeling like I needed to call a professional to take care of this as they might know better until I stumbled upon your video and said F it and took a grinder to cut it off, within 20 mins I was done with the install of a new kitchen faucet. Thanks alot!!!

4 year old video coming saving me hours of work! Thank you kind sir!
-
That faucet sure was a “crusty one” thanks for sharing these real videos, like others have said a lot of other channels will show you them replacing a brand new faucet, no rust, no crust, no cholesterol, you keep it real! Thanks
-
Thanks for sharing. This is the only video worth watching. Other videos make it look easy and I've been trying to get this dang faucet replaced for 3 days now and am damn near ready to burn the whole kitchen down.

Plan B. Always a Plan B. Then a Plan C if necessary. Then Wind Chimes. Well done!
-
This was exactly the help I was looking for. I could not remove the large mounting nut underneath the faucet so I cut the faucet off at the base with my grinder with a cutting wheel - it worked perfectly. Thanks Steve!
-
You earned your money on this one Steven!!!! Same kitchen faucet I have in my house, and same kitchen faucet we hade 50 years ago when I was a kid!!! Quality!!
-
Thank you!!! Spent an hour trying to get the copper tubes through the hole before seeing your video. Cut off with a dremel in 30 seconds. 🙌🏻 Appreciate your help!
-
Steve, it continues to be the resident commentary that takes your videos to the "next level" mama!

Thanks for this video. I looked it up when I failed at plan B, and was glad to see that it wasn't just me. I was using an oscillating tool instead of a grinder, but thanks to your video was able to use the same technique to get the faucet out.
-
What a powerful video, you're the only person who will show a grinder to take off a stubborn valve, I've used a sawall, but a grinder with a cut wheel? Clever. Thanks Gilbert

I am glad to see I am not alone using a angle grinder to remove a faucet my co think I am crazy but hell it works
-
That’s real fun on an extra deep sink
-
I recently had a faucet just like this. I used similar strategies to get it off. Such a great feeling when it come loose!
-
Your skills, expertise and experience kept moving forward when most others may have given up. Plan C best part of video! Next level!!

Nothing much I miss more than having my dog ride with me in my service truck. It kept my sanity, especially on a long drive home.
-
Good job. Mine took 3 hours to get my old kitchen Sink mixed tap. I used multiple purpose oscillator with metal blades.
-
I bought a similar delta faucet with the hot and cold knobs on each side for my kitchen about a year ago.I only got it from Amazon which lowes, and other hardwares didn't have.Delta may cost more but its worth the quality to buy it.Bought a cheap one from Wal-Mart which it only last about a year. You do great work Steve ,I learned a lot from watching your plumbing.
